Canada Day Fireworks – July 1

Thursday, July 1 — 8:00 – 10:30 pm
Bayfront and Pier 4 Parks, Hamilton

Fireworks at dusk (approximately 10:00 pm)

The fireworks are best viewed from Bayfront Park. This year the fireworks display will be launched from the north-west point of Bayfront Park.
Please note: Set up for the fireworks will require a section of the park to be closed on July 1.

Food Donations will be accepted

Bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation to support the Welcome Inn Community Centre’s Emergency Food Pantry www.welcomeinn.ca/programs/food_pantry.php which serves over 14,000 people in Hamilton every year. Food donations can be dropped off at the information tent in Bayfront Park starting at 8:00pm.

Don’t get stuck in vehicle traffic – walk or bike to the event

Special Canada Day Shuttle Bus to Pier 4
FREE to ride
The shuttle bus service starts at the east side of John Street (just north of King Street) and ends in Pier 4 Park. Shuttle service begins at 6:00p.m.

Waterfront Shuttle Bus – Route 99 to Pier 8
FREE to ride

Note: There is limited public parking available in the area during the Canada Day Fireworks event.

Residents are reminded that personal fireworks and sparklers are not permitted in City parks or on City property.
